Issue Tracking
Our Issue Tracking module is essential for managing projects, tasks, bugs, requirements, changes, code, tests, releases and sprints. The platform allows teams to capture, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently by logging issues, setting Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), assigning issues to team members with expected timelines and full lifecycle tracking of updates and comments.
Each issue is assigned a priority to manage workflows effectively, making it suitable for Service Management and handling the internal flows for customer support tickets.
Although WBS was traditionally associated with upfront, detailed planning (Waterfall), Agile teams adapt it to fit iterative development cycles, using it to break down large user stories or epics into smaller, manageable tasks, making it highly relevant for Adaptive's Kanban-Controlled or Scrum.
Internal Change
A separate module, Internal Change, allows you to log all internal changes and comes with a full audit trail.
Set-Up Issue Tracking
- Overview: Create Topics: The system is fully customisable. Choose your own products and services or topics/sub-topics on which issues will be based
- Flexible: Edit and delete, as required, although a category cannot be deleted while issues are open. This will not delete older data from audit trails
Issue Tracking
- Overview: Create internal tickets: Add WBS1 or WBS2 (work breakdown structure) and assign to relevant staff
- Tracking: The system tracks progress and offers full message threads. Only senior staff can sign-off on tickets.
- Filters & Audit Trail: Filter by product/service, staff or WBS. There is a full audit trail of all module activity
